Stockton, CA. – The family of two children and a man who died in a head-on collision Sunday night in Stockton has released their identities.
22-year-old Jonathan Corona, 4-year-old Ariela Corona Miranda, and 2-year-old Xitaly Corona Miranda died in the crash that happened around 9:19 p.m. on Mariposa Road west of Dobbs Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai occupied by Jonathan, his wife Anahi, and their three children, Ariela, Xitaly, and 1-year-old Paulina, was traveling westbound on Mariposa Road.
At the same time, a Ford was heading eastbound on the same road when the driver veered into the westbound lane, directly into the path of the Hyundai.
The vehicles collided head-on.
Jonathan was the front passenger in the Hyundai. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
All three children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Ariela and Xitaly later died from their injuries.
Anahi was driving the car and was hospitalized with major injuries.
The driver of the Ford was hospitalized with moderate injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The victims' family opened a GoFundMe account to help them raise funds following the traffic accident.

Stockton, CA. – Three people are dead after a head-on collision that happened on Sunday evening in Stockton.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 9:20 p.m. on Mariposa Road west of Dodds Road.
A gray Ford SUV was traveling eastbound on Mariposa Road when with drifted into the westbound lane and collided with a silver Hyundai sedan occupied by five people.
A man in the front passenger seat of the sedan was killed in the crash.
Two children in the sedan were transported to San Joaquin General Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The female driver of the sedan and her 1-year-old child were hospitalized with major injuries.
The SUV driver was transported to Modesto Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries and was arrested for DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
