According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 6:56 a.m. on October 14, 2026, on westbound Interstate 80, just east of the Manuel Campos Parkway off-ramp.

Three vehicles, including a gray Mazda CX-40 and a gray Toyota Camry, were involved in the accident.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and offered medical aid to at least one person who suffered minor injuries.

At least two of the vehicles were towed away from the scene.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
