Eureka, CA – A man was hospitalized after reportedly being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Eureka.
According to the Eureka Police Department, the accident transpired at around 11:30 a.m. April 15, on West Harris Street near Ocean Avenue.
Investigations revealed that a man was attempting to walk across the street when a grey Nissan Frontier struck him. It’s unclear why the pedestrian was hit in the street.
Eureka police and emergency personnel responded to the incident and found the pedestrian unresponsive at the scene.
Medics transported the victim by ambulance to a hospital with minor injuries. His identity was not immediately released but EPD described him as a man in his 40s.
