Two of the four occupants of the Tesla were killed in the accident.

Elk Grove, CA. – Two people died in a car crash early Monday morning in Elk Grove.
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, the accident happened around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Elk Grove Florin and Brown roads.
An officer reportedly approached a vehicle they deemed suspicious on the east end of Brown Road, Elk Grove.
The vehicle sped off and crashed into a Tesla at the intersection of Elk Grove Florin and Brown roads.
Two of the four occupants of the Tesla were killed in the accident.
Two others were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Two juveniles in the Hyundai were detained.
More details about the accident were not released.
Authorities closed Elk Grove Florin Road from Calvine Road to Heritage Hill Drive for at least two hours.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
