Tucson, AZ.- A woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Tucson on Friday afternoon, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
At around 1:15 p.m. October 24, authorities responded to reports of a collision in the area of East River Road and North Craycroft Road.
A dump truck with a trailer was heading south on Craycroft Road when it collided with a northbound sedan that made an improper left turn.
The impact sent the truck off the road and into a large drainage embankment.
According to PCSD, the driver of the sedan, Elizabeth Ann Pray, 35, was declared deceased at the scene.
The operator of the dump truck was unharmed.
Pray reportedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making a left turn.
The accident remains under investigation.
