Sacramento, CA.- An elderly driver was severely hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, according to the Sacramento Fire Department.
The accident was reported at about 4:30 p.m. October 28, on Fruitridge Road and 56th Street.
A man in his 70s lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a power pole.
It's unclear what led up to the accident.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the driver unresponsive.
The SFD performed CPR on the driver, who was then transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
