Bakersfield, CA.- Eduardo Godinez, 31, was killed in an accident where he was hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in south Bakersfield on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident took place in the 5900 block of South Union Avenue at around 3:42 a.m. October 25.
Godinez was riding a bicycle south on Union Avenue when he was hit by a gray 2017 Nissan Altima driven by a 32-year-old woman.
CHP said Godinez died at the scene of the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
