Mira Mesa, CA.- A driver was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Mira Mesa on Friday morning, according to the San Diego Fire-Reacue Department.
The crash was reported just before, 10:30 a.m. in the 9300 block of Mercy Road.
According to the report, a car drifted off the side of Mercy Road and crashed into a tree.
It's unclear what caused the driver to loose control of the vehicle.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle by the firefighters.
Medics transported the driver to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
