San Jacinto, CA – The authorities have released the identity of a woman who was killed in head-on crash that left three other people injured in San Jacinto Tuesday evening.
The Riverside County coroner's office identified the deceased woman as Cynthia Medina, a 47-year-old resident of Beaumont.
The collision happened at 4:22 p.m. on August 5 at Ramona Expressway, west of Sanderson Avenue, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.
Reportedly, a vehicle traveling westbound on Ramona Expressway crossed over the center line, for unknown reasons, and collided head-on with a second vehicle.
The driver of one of the vehicles, later identified as Cynthia Medina, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three occupants of the other vehicle received medical care at the scene before being transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
