According to the California Highway Patrol logs, the incident was reported around 1:49 p.m., March 8, on the northbound Interstate 680 just south of State Route 242.
A gray Hyundai Santa Fe and another car were involved in the collision. Airbags in both cars were deployed.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident. Paramedics responded and provided medical aid to the victim. It was unclear if the patient was hospitalized.
The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were blocked following the crash.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
