
Cochise County, AZ– The man who was killed in a Cochise County crash when a driver failed to yield while making a turn on Wednesday afternoon has been identified.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident took place on Highway 92 at around 4:44 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2025, and involved a Mazda Miata and a Toyota Sienna.
The AZDPS said the Mazda was attempting to make a left turn on Highway 92 when the driver failed to yield to the Toyota traveling east on the highway. This caused the Toyota to strike the turning vehicle.
The driver of the Mazda was declared deceased at the scene. The AZDPS has identified the driver as Riley Patrick Mulvihill, 20, of Sierra Vista.
A passenger in the Mazda was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the Toyota were treated for minor injuries.
Mulvihill's family has set up a GoFundMe to help with expenses. The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
