San Diego, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Friday night on a freeway in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident was reported around 10:35 p.m. on the southbound 805 Freeway near Highway 94.
The pedestrian was reportedly running across traffic lanes when they were hit by a silver Toyota Yaris.
The victim died in the accident.
Several traffic lanes were closed following the crash. All lanes were back open at 1:41 a.m. Saturday.
