Sacramento, CA.- A child was among two people injured in a crash that happened in south Sacramento on Wednesday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The incident took place on Fruitridge Road and Monterey Way shortly after 8 a.m.
Two vehicles reportedly crashed near the intersection for unspecified reasons.
An 11-year-old girl was hospitalized with a broken leg following the incident.
A man involved in the crash complained of neck pain.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
