Chatsworth, CA –Â The authorities have released the identities of two people who were killed after an SUV and a Metro bus collided on W Nordhoff Street in Chatsworth.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the two deceased parties as Gage Weida, 31, and Daniel Castillo, 46.
LAFD said both victims were in the Metro bus at the time of the crash.
The deadly crash happened at about 5:02 pm. on September 15 in the 20900 block of West Nordhoff Street.
Investigators said a Line 166 bus was traveling eastbound on Nordhoff Street when an SUV traveling southbound on De Soto Avenue struck it.
Six other people were injured.
Authorities said on Wednesday that the driver who was operating the SUV has since been arrested and booked for murder. The woman was identified as 36-year-old Bailee Lynn Rios. Her bail was set at $4 million.

Chatsworth, CA – Two people are dead, and six others are hospitalized following a crash involving an SUV and a Los Angeles Metro bus in Chatsworth on Tuesday evening, authorities said.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:02 p.m. on September 15 in the 20900 block of West Nordhoff Street.
The Los Angeles Metro said a Line 166 bus was traveling eastbound on Nordhoff Street when it was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on De Soto Avenue.
At least two people were pronounced dead following the collision. Six additional people were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene along with other emergency crews. Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the circumstances leading to the collision.
The fatal crash remains under investigation.
