The accident took place around 12:30 a.m. on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway at the San Pedro Street off-ramp.
Los Angeles, CA. – 36-year-old Cesar Navarro died when he was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning on an off-ramp in downtown Los Angeles, the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner reported.
The accident took place around 12:30 a.m. on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway at the San Pedro Street off-ramp.
Authorities said Navarro was walking near the bottom of the off-ramp when he was struck by a construction van.
First responders pronounced Navarro dead at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
