La Habra, CA. – One person died, and another sustained critical injuries in a pedestrian accident that happened late Monday evening in La Habra.
According to the La Habra Police Department, the crash was reported around 8:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Hacienda Road.
Police said a car hit two pedestrians in the area for an unknown reason.
Responding paramedics pronounced one of the victims dead at the scene and transported the other to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the car stopped and remained at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine what transpired leading to the crash, but impairment is not suspected to be a factor.
