Capron, IL. – A 49-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday evening in Capron.
According to local police, the accident occurred in the 7000 block of Manchester Road at around 5:30 p.m.
The man was driving eastbound on Manchester Road when he veered into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a westbound car.
The 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
