Cajon Pass, CA. – A driver was injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 15 in Cajon Pass on Saturday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department, the accident happened around 10:39 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 near the Oak Hill Road exit.
A white GMC Sierra pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed crossed all the traffic lanes, went up the embankment, and rolled over at least once. The driver came to rest on its wheels.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Dignity Health Community Hospital in San Bernardino.
Police say speed was a factor in the accident, and alcohol could be a factor in the crash, pending results from the hospital.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
