Phoenix continues to experience a high volume of vehicle collisions, consistently accounting for a disproportionate share of Arizona’s total crashes and fatalities, though recent preliminary data shows a slight decline in fatal crashes in 2024. The city logged 37,472 crashes in 2024, which translates to an average of over 102 accidents per day.
