Josephine County, OR.- Buck Carlos Gene Arby Ward, 58, of Crescent City, was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident that took place in Josephine County last month, according to the Oregon State Police
The crash occurred at about 5:23 a.m. March 19, on Highway 199, near milepost 16.
Police reported that Ward was in the roadway, for unknown reasons, when he was hit by a northbound Ford F-150 driven by Ethan Wayne Anderson, 36, of Cave Junction.
Ward was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Anderson was uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash.
According to police, fog is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
