Brentwood, CA – A motorcyclist died after being hit by multiple vehicles early Wednesday morning in Brentwood, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident was reported around 12:47 a.m., March 25, on westbound State Route 4, just east of Lone Tree Way.
A motorcycle reportedly collided with a black SUV, leaving the rider and the bike down in the right lane. The SUV stopped about 50 feet ahead of the scene in the center divider.
Another car ran over the motorcyclist’s arm as they lay in the traffic lanes. The driver of a big rig also called 911, reporting that they had run over the rider.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and blocked all the westbound lanes of the highway.
The motorcyclist died from their injuries at the scene, prompting a coroner representative to respond.
The SUV, a black sedan, and the motorcycle were towed away from the scene.
CHP officers are investigating the Brentwood collision.
