Clackamas County, OR. – 64-year-old Brent Bjorkman died, and another person was critically hurt in a motorcycle accident that happened Friday afternoon near Estacada in Clackamas County.
According to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred around 5:07 p.m. in the 24000 block of South Springwater Road.
Investigators said Bjorkman, an Oregon City resident, was riding a 2022 Harley Davidson cruiser with a pillion passenger. The pair's motorcycle collided with a 2024 Toyota Camry turning into a driveway.
Bjorkman and his passenger suffered critical injuries in the crash.
A sheriff's deputy attempted offering lifesaving measures on Bjorkman, but the victim died at the scene.
His passenger was taken to a Portland area hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Camry suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities are collecting more information to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
