Bonsall, CA – David Flores Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Old Highway 395

The crash occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Sept. 13 at Old Highway 395 and West Lilac Road.

Bonsall, CA – A 35-year-old man died Sunday night following a two-vehicle collision on Old Highway 395 in Bonsall, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as David Garcia Flores, 35.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:55 p.m. on September 13, 2026 at Old Highway 395 and West Lilac Road.

David Flores was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision and was transported to Palomar Medical Center Escondido for treatment.

He was later pronounced dead at approximately 10:34 p.m. The Medical Examiner determined that he died from blunt force injuries to the head. No contributing conditions were listed, and his manner of death was classified as an accident.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
