The collision was reported to authorities around 5:40 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Main Street near Ynacio Valley Road.
Walnut Creek police reported that a woman on a bicycle collided with a car in the area under unclear circumstances.
The woman died from her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped and remained at the scene.
Police are investigating the accident.
