Contra Costa, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident in Bay Point on Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:41 p.m. December 19, at Willow Pass Road and Bella Vista Avenue.
A pedestrian was hit by a car in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the accident and was transported to John Muir Walnut Creek for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
