Bakersfield, CA – Authorities have released the identity of a driver who died in a collision involving a big rig in January in Bakersfield.
Nathaniel Xzavier Onsurez, 21, of Bakersfield, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office, was killed in the two-vehicle accident that took place on Bear Mountain Boulevard and Wible Road at around 9:30 a.m. January 7.

The impact caused the Honda and the big rig’s trailer to roll over.
The driver of the Honda, now identified as Onsurez, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the big rig, a Fresno, man was uninjured and was cooperative with law enforcement
The accident remained under investigation by the CHP.
