According to a report by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the incident took place at around 2:15 a.m. November 8, at Cinema Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road.
Los Angeles, CA. – Officer Bailey Magana has been identified as the off-duty LAPD officer killed in a car crash early Saturday morning in Santa Clarita.
According to a report by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the incident took place at around 2:15 a.m. November 8, at Cinema Drive and Bouquet Canyon Road.
Authorities said Officer Magana was driving a Tesla when he slammed into a utility pole.
The vehicle caught fire following the incident.
The responding Los Angeles County Fire Department crews helped put out the flames.
Magana was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
