Cotati, CA. – At least one person died in a traffic collision that happened Thursday night near an intersection in Cotati, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 11:25 p.m. on southbound Stony Point Road, south of West Sierra Avenue.
A white sedan and an SUV were involved in the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and freed at least one person stuck inside one of the cars with major injuries.
The report said at least one person died in the collision.
One person was arrested for an unknown traffic code violation.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
