Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced Austin Fett and a passenger of the Toyota dead at the scene
Long Beach, CA. – Austin Patrick Fett, 28, of Lakewood, has been identified as one of the two people who died in a car accident on Sunday evening in Long Beach.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident happened around 7:35 p.m. in the area of Wardlow Road and Woodruff Avenue.
A 2025 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle was traveling north on Woodruff Avenue when it collided with a 2006 Toyota Highlander that was turning left onto Wardlow Road.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced Fett and a passenger of the Toyota dead at the scene.
The driver of the Highlander was transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
