According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident transpired around 11 p.m. on southbound Highway 14, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway, near Soledad Canyon Road.

Santa Clarita, CA. – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened Sunday night in Santa Clarita.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident transpired around 11 p.m. on southbound Highway 14, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway, near Soledad Canyon Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. Debris from the crash was scattered in the roadway.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the collision. The victim was hospitalized in unknown condition.
A sweeper was requested to respond and clean the roadway.
All southbound lanes of the highway were closed until around 12:30 a.m. Monday following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
