At Least 2 Injured in Car Accident on Broderick and Lombard Streets in San Francisco

San Francisco, CA. – At least two people were hospitalized after a traffic accident in the District area of San Francisco on Tuesday morning.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the wreck took place on Broderick and Lombard streets at around 7:30 a.m.

Police reported that a driver crashed into two parked unoccupied vehicles and slammed into a building.

The driver and one person inside the building were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver had failed to stop after being involved in an earlier two-vehicle collision at about 6:20 a.m. on Richardson and Francisco streets.

The other motorist involved in the earlier crash was unhurt and stayed at the scene.

Medical emergency is suspected to have played a role in the incident, police reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
