San Francisco, CA. – At least two people were hospitalized after a traffic accident in the Marina District area of San Francisco on Tuesday morning.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the wreck took place on Broderick and Lombard streets at around 7:30 a.m.
Police reported that a driver crashed into two parked unoccupied vehicles and slammed into a building.
The driver and one person inside the building were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver had failed to stop after being involved in an earlier two-vehicle collision at about 6:20 a.m. on Richardson and Francisco streets.
The other motorist involved in the earlier crash was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
Medical emergency is suspected to have played a role in the incident, police reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
