A car traveling northbound on Highway 13 reportedly lost control and crashed
Oakland, CA.- At least one person was killed in a major car accident that took place in Oakland on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on Highway 13 at the I-580 transition at around 3:10 a.m.
A car traveling northbound on Highway 13 reportedly lost control and crashed.
The car burst into flames following the accident.
At least one person involved died in the crash.
Sections of Highway 13 and I-580 were shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the crash.
