San Juan Capistrano, CA.- At least one person was hurt Monday morning in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on the 5 Freeway in San Juan Capistrano.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the incident that took place at around 8:09 a.m. near Ortega Highway.
A Ford Bronco, a Mercedes, and a third vehicle crashed on the southbound side of the freeway for unspecified reasons.
At least one person was injured in the crash.
The condition of the injured party was unknown.
Southbound 5 Freeway was shut down in the area as investigations were ongoing.
The CHP is still working to determine the cause of the accident.
