Sacramento, CA.- At least one person was injured when a police chase ended in a crash in downtown Sacramento on Wednesday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident began in the area of Auburn Boulevard and Watt Avenue when deputies attempted to stop a driver for a traffic violation.
The driver failed to stop and deputies initiated a pursuit.
The chase ended near J and 29th Streets when the suspect crashed into a private transport bus.
The bus driver was the sole occupant of the bus and suffered minor injuries.
The suspect, who was unhurt, was placed under arrest following the collision.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
