Arroyo Grande, CA – A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital with severe injuries after colliding with an SUV Sunday afternoon in Arroyo Grande.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 4:10 p.m. on August 9, 2026, on southbound Highway 101, just north of the Oak Park Boulevard off-ramp.
The report did not mention what transpired leading to the collision but said the rider was thrown from their bike, landing in brush in the center divider after colliding with a silver Honda CR-V.
The motorcyclist was sent to the hospital with major injuries.
