Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle with one occupant and another with several people inside were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately established. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to overturn and one person was trapped inside.
The Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the scene and extricated the party trapped in the overturned vehicle and at least two others from the second vehicle.
