At least three vehicles were involved in the collision on West Riverside Drive

Los Angeles, CA – The authorities have released the identity of a person who was killed after multiple vehicles collided on West Riverside Drive in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 30-year-old Anthony Silverwood. Silverwood was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 69-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were hospitalized in critical condition. Two other men in their 30s sustained minor injuries.
The deadly crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. in the 2427 block of West Riverside Drive.

Los Angeles, CA – A man died, and two others were critically hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday afternoon in the Elysian Valley community of Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 2427 block of West Riverside Drive.
At least three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found five people involved in the accident.
A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 69-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A 34-year-old man and a 35-year-old man refused hospitalization for the minor injuries they sustained.
One of the drivers was reportedly traveling at 70 mph on the stretch of the road where the speed limit is 35 mph.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
