Redlands, CA – One person was killed in a traffic collision at an intersection in Redlands, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly incident happened at about 1:00 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10 and Nevada Street.
Limited information regarding the incident was provided, but the CHP said a driver, identified as Albert Rubio, a 59-year-old resident of Banning, was critically injured and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Rubio was pronounced dead at the hospital at about 3:00 a.m. the same day.
No additional information was provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
