According to the CHP, a 21-year-old man from Stockton was driving a Honda Accord when he rear-ended a black Tesla Model Y driven by Ghazal

Tracy, CA – The 66-year-old Tracy man killed in an alleged hit-and-run accident on Interstate 580 in Tracy Sunday morning has been identified as Akram Ghazal, according to the Alameda County Coroner's Bureau.
The incident happened in the eastbound lanes just west of the Grant Line Road exit at about 4:45 a.m. September 21.
According to the CHP, a 21-year-old man from Stockton was driving a Honda Accord when he rear-ended a black Tesla Model Y driven by Ghazal.
Ghazal was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
The other driver was taken to Valley Care Medical Center in Pleasanton with moderate injuries and was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
After being medically cleared, the driver was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
