Vancouver, WA – The police are investigating a serious injury hit-and-run collision that occurred on 136th Avenue in Vancouver on Friday afternoon.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, the wreck was reported on SE 136th Avenue at SE 7th Street on November 21, 2025, at around 3:20 p.m.
Reports revealed that a 17-year-old boy was driving a 2008 Nissan Versa in the area when he crashed into a second vehicle carrying the four victims.
The boy fled the scene before the officers arrived.
A 30-year-old adult male was hospitalized in critical condition, while the children, ages 10, 7, and 6, were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The juvenile turned himself in at the Vancouver Police Department East Precinct just after midnight. He was questioned before being booked into the Juvenile Detention Center for four counts of Vehicular Assault and four counts of Felony Hit and Run.
The roadway was closed during the on-site investigation.
The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating.
