Perris, CA. – 19-year-old Adrian Quiroz died when his car collided with a parked big rig Friday evening near an intersection in Perris, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department reported.
The incident took place just before 7 p.m. near Ellis and Redlands avenues.
Quiroz was driving a car eastbound on Ellis Avenue at an unknown speed when he allegedly lost control and slammed into a big rig parked on the side of the road.
Quiroz was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
The big rig driver was in the cab of the truck at the time of the crash but was not hurt.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
