Kent, WA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Kent on Friday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck happened on Interstate 5 near State Route 516 at around 2:13 a.m. October 10.
According to the WSP, a man was riding a 2012 Harley-Davidson FLTRXS northbound on I-5 when he was involved in a crash with a northbound 2008 Honda Fit.
The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike by the impact of the crash.
The rider, identified as Aaron Wardrip, 50, of Federal Way, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Honda, a 59-year-old Renton man, was not injured.
The roadway was shut down for over five hours as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
