CHP said a Dodge Ram 3500 was traveling eastbound on Bowman Road when it failed to stop for vehicles that were stopped ahead
Cottonwood, CA.- Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Cottonwood on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place on Bowman Road near Adams Road at about 2:38 p.m. November 6.
CHP said a Dodge Ram 3500 was traveling eastbound on Bowman Road when it failed to stop for vehicles that were stopped ahead.
The Ram slammed into a vehicle, initiating a chain-reaction involving three other vehicles.
The struck vehicles were a Ford Escape, a Lincoln MKZ, a Kia Soul, and a Chevrolet Impala.
Six people sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Two parties, who were riding in the Lincoln, were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
