6 Hospitalized after Romoland Crash on Menifee Road near Mountain Avenue

Riverside County, California (September 13, 2023) – At least six people were hospitalized following a traffic collision on Wednesday evening near Romoland.
At around 6:01 p.m., the Riverside County Fire Department responded to reports of a crash on Menifee Road, just south of Mountain Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated using hydraulic tools.
Authorities say a total of six people were hospitalized. One victim had major injuries, another had moderate injuries while four others had minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
