Six Hurt in Maricopa Crash on State Route 238 near Southern Dunes Golf Club
Maricopa, AZ.– Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Maricopa on Saturday afternoon, according to the Maricopa Police Department.
The incident took place on State Route 238 near Southern Dunes Golf Club at about 4:30 p.m.
According to the police, two vehicles collided head-on and struck two other vehicles.
Two people were airlifted to Valley hospitals with major injuries.
Four other parties were transported to hospitals with minor injuries.
SR 238 was shut down in both directions as authorities cleared the scene.
The Maricopa Police Department is investigating the accident.
