Paramedics who responded to the incident found one patient in critical condition, two in moderate condition, and two others in minor condition

Riverside County, CA. – Five people were hospitalized after being injured in a collision early Sunday morning near Cactus City.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the accident happened on Interstate 10 Freeway near Milepost 74 at around 1:36 a.m.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. Two of the vehicles were involved in a head-on collision.

Paramedics who responded to the incident found one patient in critical condition, two in moderate condition, and two others in minor condition.

Three air ambulances were called to the scene.

More details about the collision were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
