Los Angeles, CA. – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving two Metro buses that happened Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident occurred around 4:17 p.m. in the 100 block of South Grand Avenue near First Street.

Police officers responded to the scene after being notified about a Metro bus that had driven onto a sidewalk.

The officers found two Metro buses and a third vehicle involved in the collision.

Three people, including a 52-year-old woman on the bus, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was listed in fair condition.

An unknown number of other passengers possibly sustained minor injuries.

There was no pedestrian involved in the accident.
