Wickenburg, AZ.- Authorities are investigating a major crash that left multiple people dead near Wickenberg on Saturday.
According to the Yavapai County fire officials, the incident took place on US 93.
A vehicle is suspected to have been making an illegal passing when it collided with another car on the highway.
Three passengers in the passing car were ejected from the vehicle and died following the collision.
The driver and a passenger in that vehicle as well as the two occupants of the second vehicle were hospitalized.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
