The 21-year-old Oxnard man driving the blue Toyota was hospitalized with serious injuries

Ventura County, CA. – At least three people were injured in a collision that happened at an intersection in Ventura County on Friday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 10:51 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 101 just north of West Main Street.
A man reportedly drove a blue Toyota into a closed portion of the 101 Freeway and struck a construction vehicle. The impact of the collision pushed the construction vehicle into two construction workers who were standing outside.
The 21-year-old Oxnard man driving the blue Toyota was hospitalized with serious injuries.
One construction worker was hospitalized with serious injuries while the second construction worker was treated at the scene and released.
