Acton, CA – Three people were injured Sunday night in a three-vehicle collision in Acton, according to the authorities.
The collision happened around 8:08 p.m. on October 26 on Sierra Highway.
Authorities said three vehicles, including a white sedan, were involved in the collision.
The impact pushed one of the vehicles off the roadway. The sedan came to rest about a quarter-mile south of the accident scene.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles, and had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A third person was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
CHP conducted a field sobriety test on the sedan driver.
Drugs or alcohol might have been a factor in the accident.
The collision closed both directions of the highway near Shannondale Road.
The collision remains under investigation.
